Dr. Mark Armstrong, N.D., doesn’t only treat you with acupuncture needles and leave you in the treatment room alone. He speaks to the Inner Healer within, guides you, and teaches you about what this season is here to teach you. Every visit is an opportunity to understand what is happening within you and to receive simple, practical tools to take home. The name Ahimki joins ahimsa (harmlessness toward life) and ki (universal life force). It reflects our belief that you already carry a healer within you, and our work is to help you reawaken it.

The Inner Healer Within

Dr. Mark’s approach is built on one conviction: lasting wholeness is something you cultivate, not something that is done to you. Alongside acupuncture, Medical Qi Gong, and our quantum technologies, you’ll receive guidance, practices, and tools to use between sessions, so your healing continues in your own home, on your own time, in your own hands.

Mind + Emotions. Thoughts, beliefs, emotional states and stress shape how we feel and heal. You’ll learn practices for calming mental noise, building awareness, and shifting long-held patterns.

Body. Through acupuncture, light, sound, musical instruments, prayer and frequency, we support the body’s natural capacity to restore balance, relieve pain, and renew vitality. All of it is non-invasive and drug-free.

Spirit. Beneath the physical is the energy that animates us. When that energy is clear and flowing, we feel grounded, vibrant, and connected. When it’s disturbed, we often feel it long before it shows up anywhere else.

Understanding Your Energy Field

In many energy-healing traditions, every person is surrounded by a luminous field of energy known as the aura. It is understood to hold several layers, each connected to a different part of our experience.

Descriptions vary by tradition, but the commonly described layers include:

Etheric layer: closest to the body, tied to physical vitality and sensation
Emotional layer: the home of our feelings and emotional patterns
